Dr. Carter has cared for multiple generations of Southern Indiana residents for years with patients ranging in age from 2-101. With his hygienists Thomas, Sarah, and Kim, Dr. Carter strives to keep you healthy and coach you on all that you can do to maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. No two patients are the same, and we strive to stay away from a “cookie-cutter” approach to your recare/recall appointments. Patients all have their own needs, and that could mean 3, 4, 6, 9, or even 12-month recall appointments. We also work regularly with local Periodontal Specialists to care for the more challenging cases that we encounter. If you’ve been away from the dentist for a while, you may be intimidated by the prospect of returning, but, we assure you, we have seen it all and, more often than not, formulated a plan that lead to recovery. While Dr. Carter doesn’t market himself as a “cosmetic dentist", every procedure he does takes into account the patient's final cosmetic result. He and his staff want you to have a great smile. Dental Implants
Dr. Carter and his team work with some of the finest Oral Surgeons and Periodontists in the Southern Indiana and Louisville area to produce long-lasting and esthetic implant restorations. Dr. Carter has done all major types of implant restorations: single tooth replacement, implant retained bridges, quarter and full arch implant retained porcelain bridges, and implant retained full and partial dentures.

Removable Prosthetics
Whether it is a single crown, or a complicated multi-unit “bridge”, Dr. Carter can help with your treatment. Throughout the years, Dr. Carter has been involved with the replacement of hundreds (maybe …thousands?) of teeth through both traditional tooth-retained and implant crowns and bridges.
